Cavistes Vézelay

Recently opened in Vézelay, this wine cellar is an excellent opportunity to stop off on your way up to the basilica, halfway between the start of the main street and its forecourt. Wilfrid and Sophie welcome you in the dining room or on the small terrace to taste wines and local produce, gourmet platters or Burgundy snails. Installed in a former church, this wine cellar is an extension of the magnificent boutique opened in 2021, My Découvertes by Julien Cohen. The person in charge of the place, Morgan Morin, will welcome you and will be able to advise you in the large choice of Burgundian wines, beers and spirits present here. Moreover, the establishment is a wine bar. With, in accompaniment to the tastings, boards of cold cuts or cheeses in particular. All this to be tasted in the vaulted cellar of the ^12th century or on the pleasant terrace. A place to discover absolutely.
