Tonnerre, a town close to Paris, is home to an associative café that promotes art, culture and gastronomy. The café offers its visitors meals on the premises, but does not offer take-away or delivery. In addition to the café, Tonnerre also offers a variety of cultural events. It offers free concerts as well as opera recitals, chamber music concerts and jazz concerts. In addition, the Académie de Musique Ancienne de Tonnerre organizes feedback concerts for its improvisation courses. For wine lovers, Tonnerre also organizes the Salon des Vins, featuring over 60 exhibitors and 27 Burgundy appellations. This event takes place every year in April. Finally, the Action Artistique de Tonnerre association offers conferences and writing workshops on the theme of feminine ambition. Tonnerre offers a variety of cultural and gastronomic activities for visitors.
