A unique, exotic 1.5-hectare quarry used for beautiful Parisian monuments such as the Opéra Garnier and Hôtel de Ville..

Unique and exotic! Some beautiful Parisian monuments know the stone from the Aubigny quarries in their construction: the Opéra Garnier, the Hôtel de Ville, the Louvre... An oolitic limestone formed 150 million years ago. Here, there are 1 ha and a half of underground. This is a real eye-opener and you will find yourself alone for a moment with yourself at the centre of the earth, understand the work of the quarrymen and get lost in these great underground cathedrals, observe the masterpieces and models of the companions of duty. Perfect during the summer heat waves when having to carry a sweater becomes a burden. We love the stone-cutting workshops where we leave with our "masterpiece".
