MOULIN DE VANNEAU
Founded by the monks of Saint-Germain Abbey, this is the only water mill in the region still in operation
Founded by the monks of Saint-Germain Abbey around 770, the mill ceased operations in 1914, but today is the only water mill in the region still in operation. On display is a collection of antique tools and farm machinery from the late 19th century, as well as animals and a marsh where medicinal plants grow. Above all, the premises are designed to be educational, and the farm can be visited by pony for children. And don't forget the excellent local restaurant in the former granary. We love it!
