A place steeped in history offering an underground walk for a unique and original experience in Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines.
Known as Heilig Kreuz in the 16th century, this silver mine has been called Gabe-Gottes since the 18th century. This historic site offers a 2-hour tour, wrapped up in warm clothes (it's 10°C in the mine). This underground walk is an opportunity to discover geology and mineralogy in the dark. Fortunately, a headlamp is provided, as well as boots and a raincoat, because humidity is everywhere in a mine! Claustrophobes, beware! Adventurers, welcome! A unique and original experience!
