A protected area for discovering specific flora and fauna, with a house hosting exhibitions and events.

Created in 1982 and enlarged in 2006, the Nature Reserve of the Petite Camargue alsacienne is located in the area of the three borders. After the dyking of the Rhine and the construction of the Huningue canal, a wetland was maintained, making the environment conducive to the development of specific fauna and flora. The reserve house hosts various exhibitions and numerous animations to discover this protected area.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans cette petite réserve naturelle, nichée entre l’Alsace et l’Allemagne. Le cadre est paisible, bien préservé, et idéal pour une balade en pleine nature. Entre les étangs, les sentiers boisés et les observatoires à oiseaux, c’est un lieu parfait pour se ressourcer et découvrir une belle diversité de faune et de flore. Une belle surprise, à refaire !

Amazing location. This reserve is bigger than we could ever imagine. Come, read, enjoy PEACEFULLY. There’s unfortunately too many people coming in and acting like in Disneyland . If you’re calm and love nature there’s so much to discover .
