Railway station Migennes

Coming by train (from the north), you will inevitably pass through Laroche-Migennes, located halfway between Paris and Dijon. Laroche (Saint-Cydroine) and Migennes are in fact 2 neighbouring communes, and their station is located along the Burgundy canal. From here you can go to Lyon, Dijon, Auxerre, Nevers or the Morvan. But above all, this is a place steeped in history: for a long time, this was the hub of the French railways, a huge railway depot, while the station and its town helped to supply Paris with firewood!
