Every year, in the second week of August, a gigantic flea market is held, the first in the department and the second in France. Launched in 1976 by volunteers from the Foyer Rural, it now welcomes several hundred exhibitors and tens of thousands of visitors over two days, from Saturday 2pm to Sunday 4pm, with Saturday night openings (late opening on Saturday evenings for night-time bargains).
