Is it really necessary to introduce Jean-Michel Lorain? Awarded two stars in the Michelin guide for many years, the great chef is one of the flagships of French gastronomy. A haute couture chef who sets his plates like so many works of art, making his establishment a house celebrated the world over. A glance at his menu and his menus already hints at his many talents, at his extremely demanding choice of products (always of the highest quality) and at his taste for the finest and most surprising flavours. This winter, at the table of La Côte Saint-Jacques, for example, we were able to taste frog's legs, root and leaves of parsley, watercress velouté and fermented Valence black lemon to start with. Then, one of the chef's signatures, the Bresse poularde de Bresse steamed with champagne (for two people). Finally, to finish, a rose ice cream in crispy tulip and crystallized rose petals. The cuisine is more than delicate, and the atmosphere warm. As for the wine list, it is as good as the food served: exceptional! You should know that to complete the 5* hotel's Spa offer, Jean-Michel Lorain has also opened the Well-being and Flavours Restaurant: located at the Orangerie, open for lunch from Wednesday to Sunday, you will enjoy a tasty and balanced cuisine. On the Orangerie's menu, you will find scallops, celery, daikon radish and green apple, turmeric emulsion, or a fillet of poultry and small vegetables in a sour apple chutney sauce. Also enjoy the gourmet brunch (at the same place, on Saturdays and Sundays for lunch). At your table during the brunch: truffled veal cheek blanquette with red Camargue rice, burrata ravioli and parsley with cauliflower cream and truffle oil, or a rosette of haddock, radish and butternut. An absolutely exceptional address!

Open Tuesday from 7.30 to 9.30 pm; Wednesday to Sunday from 12 to 1.30 pm and from 7.30 to 9.30 pm. Menus from 175 € to 337 €. Lunch formula: 82 € (from Wednesday to Saturday excluding public holidays, or 129 € with food and wine pairing). Soirée gastronomique d'exception
Un dîner romantique incroyable, coupes de champagne près d'une cheminée dans le salon d'hiver, puis table romantique avec vue sur l'Yonne et le banc de poissons éclairé.. le plus incroyable est dans l'assiette, des plats aux saveurs inédites, accompagnés de vins délicieux. Une belle attention pour mon compagnon dont c'était l'anniversaire. Merci au chef Lorain et ses équipes pour cette extraordinaire soirée en amoureux

Cuisine avec brio et une carte créative, toute en poésie et en gourmandise, qui évolue au fil des saisons. La présentation des plats est soignée et appétissante : vous craquerez volontiers pour la genèse d’un plat sur le thème de l’huître ou les noix de ris de veau au gingembre.... TOP

en plus d'une gastronomie renommée, le cadre est très joli. Demandez à visiter le souterrain -musée qui conduit aux chambres de l'autre côté de la route!
