To say that the Roy family is rooted in the Chablis region would be an understatement. In 1810, Pierre Roy was a winegrower. One hundred years later, his descendant Fernand created the estate. Since then, generations have succeeded one another on this 20-hectare estate on the right bank of the Serein. The estate produces 4 appellations using sustainable viticulture methods: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru "Le Fourchaume" and "Le Vaulorent", and Grand Cru "Les Bougros" and "Les Preuses". Domaine Roy is a family winery in the village of Fontenay-près-Chablis. It offers you great Chablis wines such as Petit Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru: Fourchaume, Vaulorent and Chablis Grand Cru: Les Preuses, Bougros... This estate practices a reasoned culture. Thus, the harvest is done by machine except for the grand cru; the pressing is done with pneumatic presses and the vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks. Note that all their bottles are corked only with natural corks. A great address for oenophiles!
