A 55-hectare family estate that has become a must-see eco-museum for its chablis and its collection of 8,000 corkscrews
In Beine, just outside Chablis, Domaine Alain Geoffroy is a 55-hectare, five-generation family estate. Here you can discover some excellent Chablis. But in addition to its multi-award-winning international production, let yourself be tempted by a visit to the astonishing collection of 8,000 corkscrews and antique tools collected over the years and now housed in the 7 rooms of this beautiful eco-museum, which is well worth a visit. Note that it is open at the same times as the cellar

We visit every time due to the warm welcome and fabulous wines.
This year we were staying in Chablis and took an e-bike tour which stopped at Geoffroy. When we arrived I realised that I’d forgotten our picnic. The young woman that met us asked us if we were ok and I explained that we were there for tasting but I’d realised that I’d forgotten our picnic so was there a local shop open. It turned out there wasn’t and someone at the Domaine made us sandwiches - I am still amazed at how nice this was.
The young woman (sadly I didn’t get her name) took us through the excellent tasting and we managed to buy a lot of beautiful wine.
We wanted to find a photo of our dog at Geoffroy in the previous visits but think they are at home - they are very dog friendly!
See you again soon!
Great welcome and tasting.
We always purchase as these places are unique. On that note the wine is gorgeous, a rare opportunity to buy this quality at this price.
Definitely recommend.
