COMPTOIR DES VIGNES

Caviste

If the brand is national, no Comptoir des Vignes is the same, as the personality of its wine merchant has a lot to do with the offer. Ex-sommelier, the sympathetic Jérôme will know perfectly how to advise you among the multitude of references sold here: wines and champagnes, but also whiskies and rums from all over the world, cognacs and armagnacs, beers, waters, fruit juices and other artisanal syrups... In the delicatessen section, local sweets will inevitably attract your attention, while a wide selection of coffees and teas is also available.

You'll discover a wide range of products from small-scale producers. Local, but not only. Above all, take the opportunity to have a drink and taste the house specialty: the guédille, a sandwich of North American origin made with hot dog bread. Like the Lobster Roll, made with lobster. Delicious!

LE MIGÉEN-TRAITEUR

Delicatessen

Well-known in the region, "Le Migéen" (which brings life to the village of Migé, near Irancy) has another fine address, right in the center of Auxerre. Takeaway dishes, of course, but also the possibility of nibbling on the premises. The food is as tasty as ever, and reasonably priced. There's also a fine delicatessen section and excellent vintages from winegrower Houblin, also from Auxerre. Just a stone's throw from the Temple shopping street, this is an establishment we warmly recommend.

PYNEAU PRUNUTZ

Delicatessen

Do you know the gougère, an icaunese speciality if ever there was one? This choux pastry made with Gruyère or Comté cheese was born in 1571 from the imagination of two roasters from Icaun, Louis Pyneau and Jean Prunutz, hence the name of this little store which pays tribute to them. It offers wines and regional products. But, above all, the owner of the place, Aymeric, has chosen to reinvent the famous gougère here. Snail butter, marbled ham, gingerbread... in total there are more than twenty varieties that are proposed according to the days and the seasons. We love it !
