Created more than 5 centuries ago, the Foire de la Sainte Catherine is still the most important market in Tramayes today. After having marked the step with the rural exodus, this event is experiencing a revival of activity. Organized by the Association des Foires d'Antan, the idea is to maintain these large agricultural markets that once animated the village life. You will find exhibitions of cattle, mainly Charolais cows, which are part of the decor of the region's bocages, with a competition of the most beautiful animals. Many merchants and hawkers offer their local products, cheeses, honey or wines. Many activities and various competitions are organized. A giant stew is prepared by Cédric, the young butcher of the village.
