PUFFIN SAFARI
From the small port of Bleik, embark on a sea outing to meet the famous puffins that nest by the thousands on the island of Bleiksøya, just a few minutes' sail away. The safari, which lasts around 1h30, is accessible to all and takes place aboard small boats adapted to observe these endearing birds up close, as well as other marine species such as sea eagles and gannets. Outings take place mainly between late April and August, when puffins are present in large numbers.
