Built between 1906 and 1910 by Károly Kós and Dénes Györgyi, this church is a fine example of Hungarian Art Nouveau, visible in its architecture and frescoes. Next door, the statue of Saint Elisabeth, by Géza Maróti (1875-1941), sculptor and hereditary Count of Zebegény, stood in the garden of his villa. Confiscated by the Communist regime, the statue was saved by the parish and moved here. It serves as a reminder of the importance of this saint in Hungarian religious history.
