Rammang-Rammang is a karst region straddling the Maros and Pangkep kabupaten in Indonesia's South Sulawesi province. It is located in the district of Bontoa, some 40 km north of the provincial capital, Makassar. The site can be reached in an hour from Ujung Pandang airport, or in about an hour and a half from downtown Makassar. The Rammang-Rammang site (Bantimurung-Bulusaraung National Park) covers 45,000 hectares (450 km2), making it the second largest karst site in the world after Shilin in China. It was inscribed on Unesco's World Heritage List in September 2023.
