Bulukumba is a kabupaten in South Sulawesi, with its capital at Ujung Bulu, located in the extreme south of the province, 153 km from Makassar. Covering 1,154.58 km², it is divided into 10 kecamatan, 27 kelurahan and 109 desa. The area's geography includes mountainous areas (at the foot of Mount Bawakaraeng - Lompobattang), plains and coastal zones. Altitudes range from 0 to 500 m, divided between coastal kecamatan, rolling regions and hills to the west and north.
