Located at the foot of the church of Milly- Lamartine, Auberge de Jack, labelled Table de Pays, is pleasant since 1982 restaurant managed by Sylvie and Jacques Bouschet. Lovers of cinema, they decorated their inn with numerous posters with movies. Inside, the hostel can accommodate about sixty guests and terrace, in the summer, twenty people. In the kitchen, Jacques or Jack, does not make his cinema. It offers local cuisine in a family atmosphere in traditional surroundings and old bistro tables. Jacques prepares his terrines, snails, his sauces and chooses local suppliers. Thus, the meat comes from the Plug, Pierreclos sausages and cheeses from Tramayes. On the steps of Lamartine, whose birthplace is set at the end of the street, you will enjoy home cooking and tasty: sausage with roasted mustard sauce, grilled steak, veal kidneys with cream, snails and cold meats. Every midday Thursday, the house is pot-au-feu Charolais in winter. The wines are region: Mâcon-Chaintré, Mâcon Milly-Lamartine for the white, Juliénas, Morgon and Saint-Amour for the reds.
