VESTIGES DE LA VILLE ROMAINE DE NICOPOLIS

At the edge of the town of Garmen, you can visit the archaeological excavation site of the remains of the ancient Roman city of Nicopolis. The walls of the city reveal magnificent brick and stonework. Very beautiful remains of bourgeois houses and public buildings are visible on a very vast space which testifies to the importance that the site had in history. A small museum at the entrance of the site presents ancient costumes.
