OLYMPIADE DES SPORTS ANCIENS

This folk festival (Olimpijada Starih Športova) was established in 1995 in the village of Rastovača, near Posušje. During the day there are events of ancient sports: tug-of-war, stone throwing, arm wrestling, long jump, horse racing and bull fighting similar to the Grmeč bullfight. Finally, in the evening, starting at 8:00 pm, the concerts of ganga, polyphonic songs typical of Catholic villages on both sides of the border, begin.
