This metal climbing route (Via Ferrata Kuk) is one of the most impressive in the Balkans. It is located near the Papin Do refuge (24 km north-east of Gacko), on the long rock face of Mount Kuk (1,818 m), on the border with Montenegro, near Mount Volujak (2,336 m) and the source of the Sutjeska river. With a length of 832 m, it's easy enough to climb... if you're not afraid of heights. It was created in 2023 by the Volujak/Волујак mountain club in Gacko, which runs the nearby refuge (dormitories, chalets and meals).
