SANCTUAIRE DE LA REINE-DE-LA-PAIX DE HRASNO

Founded in 1975, this Catholic shrine (Svetište Kraljice Mira) is located in the hamlet of Cerovica (80 inhabitants, all Bosnian-Croats). It includes a grotto dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes, the church of the Immaculate Conception (1854), a monument to the Bosnian-Croat dead of the Second World War and a hill on top of which a strange statue of the Virgin wearing a crown seems to be doing an oriental dance. There is also a small museum of art and ethnography.
