Rimski Vojni Logor u Humcu
Archaeological site containing the remains of a camp occupied by Roman auxiliary troops and the base of four large buildings.
This 1.5-hectare site contains the remains of a Roman camp occupied between the 1st and 3rd centuries by auxiliary troops from Britain. Locally known as the "Humac Roman Camp" (Rimski Vojni Logor u Humcu), it lies 1 km south-west of the Humac Museum. Excavated between 1977 and 1980, it preserves the base of four large buildings and a rectangular enclosure (140 x 110 m). Objects discovered here are on display at the Humac Museum and the National Museum in Sarajevo.
