This complex of small historic mosques built south of Mount Sala' in Medina bears witness to the Battle of the Trench.

The 7 Mosques are 6 in number, the seventh being the al-Qiblatain Mosque. It is a complex of small historic mosques built south of Mount Sala' where the Battle of the Trench took place. Some pilgrims come here, although none of these mosques were designated as places of pilgrimage by the Prophet. Only Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem are worthy of a visit by Muslims. The al-Fath, al-Farsi and Abu Bakr Siddi mosques were razed and then rebuilt to make one. So you will see only 3 buildings.
