An architecturally distinctive general museum in Jeddah, housing collections on the culture of its country.

This museum is especially worth a look for its architecture, which follows the codes of Jeddah with its roshans, the openwork wooden balconies. A general museum, it is the pride of the city. But it also pales in comparison to more recent museums like the one in Dammam. The old and dusty collections are mainly used to awaken the city's schoolchildren to the cultures of their country.
