This takeaway-only canteen resembles those restaurants you see all over Saudi Arabia in working-class neighborhoods. The same red-and-yellow sign, the same stainless-steel stoves, the same busy staff as elsewhere. The house specialty is shawarma, served spicy or plain. The sandwiches are stuffed with mayonnaise for a tasty result. They're among the best we've had in the country. But beware, portions are small, so take two or you'll be going back an hour later.
