RED SAND DUNES

The south and west of Muzahmiya town are covered with deep red sand dunes that become a fabulous playground for motorsports. To get there, take the Mecca highway from Riyadh, then take route 505 at the interchange just before the town of Muzahmiya. Then take the first exit and drive south for about 12 kilometers. The proliferation of quad bike rental companies will signal that you have arrived at your destination. The dunes spread out on both sides of the road with the Tuwaiq mountains in the background.
