Castle with a romantic park and a library with more than 25,000 old books.
60 km from Turin, Masino castle and park dominate the Canavese plain. From a defensive role in the Middle Ages, it was gradually transformed into a pleasure house, with elegant interior decoration and terraces replacing the fortifications, to achieve a very luxurious result in the 17th and 18th centuries. The library houses over 25,000 antique volumes. The castle is surrounded by a romantic park with one of the largest green mazes in Italy.

Io essendo di Milano sono abituato a castelli meravigliosi come il castello Sforzesco, devo dire che questo castello situato in un minuscolo paesino del Piemonte mi è piaciuto. Il castello è bello e ci sono delle sale antiche e ricche di storia che ho apprezzato molto.
Il labirinto mi è piaciuto anche se in realtà mi è piaciuto molto di più il labirinto della Masone di Fontanellato.
Nel complesso lo consiglio.
