The name Ecomuseo della Resistenza is a little misleading: it's not an eco-museum in the usual sense, but rather a museum of a community, a collective, a territory. Its aim is to retrace the history of resistance during the Second World War in this small region of the Val Varaita and pass it on to future generations. Its collection of objects and documentation is the result of decades of collecting and research.
