45 km from Corfu Town, Almyros boasts one of the island's longest beaches. Here, it stretches for 7 km as an extension of Arachavi. It's renowned for its sand and shallow waters, ideal for lazing around - and for families. Unlike its cosmopolitan neighbor, Almyros seems more family-friendly, with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas for hire. Just a few meters from the beach, you'll find some fine fish tavernas with magnificent views of the sea and the Albanian coastline.
