Unlike its neighbours, the Foros tavern is always full of people. It is easy to understand why. In a picturesque setting, in a stone house, under a pergola, you will taste a quality Corfiote cuisine. Pastitsada (beef cooked with fresh pasta), briam (vegetables simmered in a pan with olive oil, onions and tomatoes), lamb baked in lemon sauce... We love it! We just recommend you to bring a little wool in the evening, because the village is 400 meters high and it can be chilly!

We visited O Foros in April with my family on our spring holiday in Corfu. This is simply the best restaurant we ate at. The food was delicious. Beans starter, rabbit stew and gyros to die for. We were treated to the walnut cake which was amazing. The restaurant is in secluded, rustic location. The hospitality of the hosts was superb. We even asked for the recipe for one of the dishes. ????????????????

Süße kleine Taverne mit rustikalem Charme. Die Speisekarte ist typisch griechisch, aber auch als Vegetarier wird man fündig und hat super leckere Speisen. Das Essen war hervorragend und zur Feier des Tages (Tag der griech. Unabhängigkeit) gab es auch noch ein Dessert vom Wirt geschenkt. Unbedingt empfehlenswert.

Λες είμαι Κέρκυρα?! Ταξιδεύεις σε μια άλλη εποχή... στο πετρόχτιστο χωριό. Στην διαφορετικοτητα του χρόνου.... Ο Φόρος είναι φιλόξενος με αρκετά καλή και γρήγορη εξυπηρέτηση. Το φαγητό είναι φτιαγμένο σίγουρα από ντόπια μαγείρισσα. Κάνει εξαιρετικό τσιγαρέλι! Ότι και αν δοκιμάσαμε ήταν πολύ καλό.
