AÉROPORT INTERNATIONAL DE RAS AL-KHAÏMAH

Built in 1976, and expanded in 2007, it has 2 runways over 3.7 kilometres long and 2 passenger terminals. Since Rak Airways suspended commercial operations at the end of 2013, Air Arabia has had the monopoly. There are direct flights to Cairo, Muscat, Doha, Jeddah as well as major cities in Pakistan and Bangladesh. In high season, it is not uncommon to see charter flights arriving from Eastern Europe.
