PLA DE LA CALMA
Stunning natural viewpoint with a small low mountain path with signs
To reach this beautiful high plateau, a foothill of the Montseny massif, follow the signs for the "Pla de la Calma" or the "Parc Etnològic de Tagamanent" from the lower part of the village of Tagamanent (the Pla de la Calma actually extends over several localities, including Figueró, Tagamanent, Sant Pere de Vilamajor, la Garriga and Cànoves and Samalús). This breathtaking natural lookout is crossed by the GR 5 or "Sender dels Miradors", which links Sitges to Canet de Mar via the Montseny Natural Park and the Montnegre i el Corredor Park.
From the Pla de la Calma (leave your car at the car park near the El Bellver restaurant where the hike begins), you can reach the Turó de Tagamanent by following a lovely, partially shaded low mountain path (1 hour return).
