CHÂTEAU DE VAILLAC
Feudal castle, an emblematic example of post-Hundred Years War architecture, visit in high season with events
The village of Vaillac nestles in the small Foulon valley, overlooked by its magnificent château. Built from 1450 onwards, this remarkable edifice remains an emblematic example of post-Hundred Years' War architecture in the Quercy region. A jewel of feudal architecture, the complex also includes impressive 16th-century stables. Since the early 1700s, the château has belonged to the d'Antin de Vaillac family, who still own it today and offer tours and events in high season.
