The oldest of the distilleries (founded in 1786) is also one of the most beautiful. It is famous for being the house of the Chivas Regal, name it holds from the Chivas brothers, grocers in Alberdeen. It is its sweet and tasty malt that is the basis of the Chivas Regal blends. Located a few steps away from the ruins of Milton castle, Strathisla Distillery was also known as Milton distillery. It had several owners, and, after a bad management during World War II, was bought by the Chivas Brothers who revived it.

Très belle distillerie qui offre un cadre typique et une ambiance assez conviviale et familiale. La visite est très intéressante ainsi que la dégustation finale dans le salon très classe.
