This stop may be of interest to hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. Managed by Ontario Parks, Voyageur Provincial Park borders the Ottawa River and the marshes and streams created by the construction of the Carillon Dam. The area is renowned for bird watching, but also for its outdoor activities (boating, fishing, four beaches with swimming, canoeing, biking, hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing).
