It must be said at the outset: Chute-à-Blondeau is not a tourist destination in itself. With the villages of Saint-Eugène and Sainte-Anne-de-Prescott, not to mention a dozen or so surrounding hamlets, it makes up the township municipality of East Hawkesbury. This is where Yves Saint-Denis, a well-known figure in the fight for the Franco-Ontarian cause, came from and still lives. In addition to the tranquility of this village on the Ottawa River, the main reason for coming here is to access Voyageur Provincial Park, which offers many outdoor activities in summer and winter, as well as camping.
