DÉFI TAÏGA CARNAVAL

Fermont, at the 52nd parallel north and a stone's throw from Labrador, is home to the longest dog sled race in eastern Canada (a loop of over 200 km), but also one of the most challenging on the circuit according to participants. About twenty mushers (or more) from North America gather each year for this extreme competition in the North. It takes place as part of the Taiga Carnival, a major winter festival offering activities for the whole family. A must-see: the snowblower race!
