Cape Charles is probably the most pleasant village in Chesapeake Bay, on the Virginia side. It is good to live in this village of a thousand inhabitants, where the houses are beautiful and the water is clear. Before the construction in 1960 of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, which connects the two shores of the bay, it was here that the ferries filled with passengers stopped. Cape Charles is a pleasant stopover, we will spend the day there to enjoy its beach and its small centre.
