Los Hoyos in Desieto De La Tatacoa, in a desert setting, with natural pools with fresh water and rich in minerals
About 10 km from the observatory, we are in the Valley of Wishes. You can pile up stones, like cairns, making wishes. When the wind knocks them down, they should come true! In the middle of this desert setting, you can bathe in las piscinas, natural pools with quite fresh water and rich in minerals. A pure delight, even if unfortunately the framework is concreted. Avoid going there on weekends, it is overcrowded. Another natural swimming pool is located not far away, at the hotel El Peñón de Constantino.
