Located in the southwestern corner of Saskatchewan, near Alberta and Montana, Eastend is situated in the historic Frenchman River Valley. While it is a quiet place, it gained notoriety with the discovery of a Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton, nicknamed Scotty, which is now on display at the T.rex Discovery Centre, Eastend's main attraction. The village also hosts a small museum dedicated to local history, the Eastend Historical Museum, and a few places to have a coffee and a bite to eat (mention to The Blue Dog, its good food and its artistic side).
