Bridge of the Gods crosses the Columbia River and allows to join Washington State. An Indian legend tells that the natural bridge that crossed the river at this place was destroyed in a quarrel between two deities, the Adam and Hood volcanoes, who fought for a goddess, the St. Helens volcano.
