The "quartier de la Bourse" is one of Mulhouse's most exotic sites

This district was built in 1826 on the initiative of 3 young industrialists. With the textile boom, the city walls were destroyed between 1807 and 1812, and Mulhouse overflowed outside the Basle Gate. The architects, Félix Friess and Jean-Godefroi Stotz, imagined arcaded constructions inspired by the Rue de Rivoli in Paris. The Place de la Bourse is crossed by the Allée de la Parfaite Harmonie leading to the SIM, founded by 22 industrialists. Thus, the Bourse district is one of the most exotic sites in Mulhouse.

Le quartier de la bourse est situé près de la gare de Mulhouse et on y trouve de jolis bâtiments avec des arcades, ce qui est agréable pour se promener et laisse l'impression d'être ailleurs qu'en France.
