A tower of about twenty meters offering a superb panorama on Mulhouse and its surroundings like the plains and the hills.
Right next to the zoo, in the Rebberg district, stands the Belvedere Tower, a metal structure about 20 metres high which can be reached by a staircase. The tower offers a superb panorama of Mulhouse and its surroundings, the Alsace plain and the Sundgau hills. The 360° view gives a glimpse of the Vosges, the Black Forest and, depending on the weather, the Swiss Alps. At the foot of the Tower stands a memorial to the Tambov elders, a painful reminder of the death of 17,000 forced enlisted men during the Second World War.
