Wine estates Clesse

Jean-Pierre Michel is a benchmark for fans of Mâconnais wines and Burgundy in general. Since 2017, together with his son Quentin, they now farm nearly 9 ha in Quintaine, in the heart of the Viré-Clessé and Mâcon-Villages appellations. Their manual work, without herbicides and using organic fertilizers, earned them Organic Agriculture certification in 2022. To find them, just look for the signature M on the orange brick cellar in Quintaine.
