Conquered by the bread and pastries of the Parisian bakeries, New York chef Daniel Leader decided to import the French know-how into the United States. For nearly 35 years, Bread Alone has been a great success and now has several stores in Upstate New York. The products are organic and the ingredients come from farms in the Hudson Valley. Simple and good, both for breakfast and snacks as well as for a real meal.
