MUTEKESWANE BASE CAMP

Mutesekwane, the entry point to Chimanimani Park, is where entrance fees are paid. There is also a well-maintained camping area with toilets and showers. It is also possible to camp inside the park, especially at the caves and by the streams, although there are no sanitary facilities, but you should check with the park authorities, who now require visitors to be accompanied by a ranger. Mutesekwane is not an idyllic site, but it is a good stopover before exploring the park.
