THENMALA ECOTOURISM

The small town of Thenmala boasts of having the first ecotourism complex developed by an Indian state government. Accommodation and food are available on site. It is divided into three parts: the Cultural Zone, the Leisure Zone, and the Adventure Zone where there are rocks to climb, a small lake to cross by zip line and a suspension bridge. Most of these attractions are disappointing, but the site is beautiful and the project deserves to be encouraged. You can also take a walk or trek in the nature reserve.
