There are no roads or trails leading to the park. Reaching the reserve is then based on one's resources and abilities. There are organized flights during which a guide will decipher the beauty of the landscapes that you fly over. Others have a more terrestrial foot. Once in the heart of the reserve, hikers will also find great opportunities to explore the vast tundra. It is possible to venture out on your own, but it is imperative to be well prepared. In the winter, snowmobilers can explore the marked trails of the Bering Land Bridge. More information is available at the Bering Land Bridge Visitor Center in Nome (www.nps.gov/bela).
