Hotel is a compleye joke.
I booked for a day package by Marideal, and booking was confirmed and payment effected.
However, upon arrival the owner told me that no rooms was available and he was sad for me.
Very unprofessional and amateur hotel.
Please avoid at any cost else you may regret your lost time

Almost every evening there is a terrible alarm sound. The staff often ignores the alarm and comes to turn it off after 5-10 minutes. They didn't fix it the entire time we lived there. The alarm is very loud and it constantly gives you a headache and it goes on at a time when you most want to relax and you are in the hotel

We sincerely regret to note the inconveniences you have had with our alarm system. We know how disturbing it is and certainly when guest are resting.
Unfortunately, this sometimes happens where it is beyond our control. We identified that children in residence play with the panic button in room, even it is not accessible at height.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans votre hôtel au cadre exceptionnel et au charme typiquement mauricien, une table remarquable et un personnel au top, les chambres sont très spacieuses et lumineuses ainsi que la salle de bain
Nous remercions surtout Seira qui nous a chouchoutés pendant ces 15 jours et nous a donné de très bons conseils pour mieux connaître et visiter Maurice

It is a nice cosy place with a beautiful view of the sea. However for a high price paid for a day package, there is not even a welcome cocktail for clients. The staff are rather cold except for the lady at the reception who was nice. Another thing, there is not much details regarding what is included in the day package lunch. For vegetarien, there is no food option even though the bar staff stated that lunch was menu a la carte. Nonetheless the food was not that tasty. Moreover, what is also disappointing is that drinks are not included in the package as compared to other hotels who offer drinks or tea time in their deal. The drinks are billed at a very exhorbitant price.

One of the best resort I have visited till now
From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the hotel's beauty and cleanliness. The entire property was well-maintained and had a very nice area. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the balcony, we could view the Indian ocean and feel the cool breeze. Each room has a good view of the garden, jacuzzi and the pool and gives a glimpse of the beach. The restaurant has a good ambience. Situated right on the beach. Perfect for candle light dinners.
The food is also very good. The Bar at the beach offers a good variety of cocktails and drinks.
Perfect location for a date or to see sunset
The location of our room was absolutely perfect. As soon as you come out of the resort, and there is a direct path leading to the beach. It felt like a private beach, very clean and clear water, a very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the sunset from that point was mesmerizing. I must say the location of the resort is at best place of Mont Choisy Beach. If someone wants to visit the temple then they could directly walk down along the beachside path and reach the temple within 10 minutes.
All respect for everyone who does a great job here. Excellent hospitality.

Séjour exceptionnel, une vingtaine de chambres vue sur mer ou sur jardin dans un jardin luxuriant avec une piscine. Le bar et le restaurant sont quasiment sur la plage d'ailleurs au sol, c'est du sable. Notre chambre dite familiale pour 4-5 personnes avaient un grand dressing avec canapé, qui donnait sur un couloir desservant 2 chambres avec chacune un balcon (1 avec un lit King size, la 2° avec un grand lit double + 1 lit simple), et la salle de bain avec douche.
Nous avions pris la demi pension. Nous avons pris tous les repas du petit déjeuner au dîner face à la mer. Nous avons apprécié la qualité des repas, gastronomique pour les repas en soirée, bravo au chef. L'accueil que ce soit du manager Jean Marie ou bien des personnes en charge des services réception ou restauration est vraiment au top, d'une gentillesse incroyable. Nous avons eu des échanges très cordiaux et des informations sur les visites à effectuer.
Nous avons même été contactés par Jean Marie par téléphone dans la 1/2 journée qui a suivi notre départ de l'hôtel car nous avions oublié dans la chambre une caméra que nous sommes venus récupérer.
Vraiment que du positif, nous recommandons chaudement cet hôtel.

Nous sommes des habitués du restaurant un des meilleurs de l'île...la cuisine est raffinée et fait la fusion entre plusieurs cultures. Nous remercions infiniment Christophe d'avoir fait un repas de groupe aussi formidable pour notre famille mauricienne. Inventivité des plats, qualité des produits fluidité du service... Cela a été un bonheur du début jusqu'à la fin....Ma famille a été ravie et même plus...des amuses gueules super, le gratin de palmiste et marlin fumé miam c'était un sabayon... Les camarons géants de madagascar grillés sur un lit de tagliatelles, renversant et le flan coco selon la recette de votre grand-mère, je n'ai jamais mangé cela..... souvent le dessert est sacrifié mais avec vous c'était une apothéose .... A refaire

Hotel location is good, close to Mont Choisi beach and room are great (small individual terrasse, we had a family room with shower and bathtub.
Negative point : Price is high compare to what you can get around.
The manager is pushing you to spend the diner the hotel restaurant (some the best food in the island etc). We of course did not eat there because there were almost nothing local and prices don’t make sense in Mauritius.
Breakfast has to be improved, only boiled eggs - bread and fruits (same every day).
You have to pay for espresso (filter coffee is free anyway).
Breakfast sitting area and breakfast buffet are separated.

As long as you keep your expectations low, you'll love this place. This is Africa after all, and tropical country on top so certain rules apply... this is not Dubai 5 star hotel, some bugs and housekeeping is on Africa level....
Good: very good location (between two beaches, but not the perfect location),
open space, great dinner ( was really surprised), very cute and polite staff, our room was spacious and nice. Parking and security during the night, nice outdoor swimming pool
Bad: loud a/c, old furniture, the bed could be better, wines are too expensive, house keeping and overal cleanness could be much much better.

Breakfast and Dinner, sea view, Peaceful, Spacious rooms, Netflix available, big screen, aircon - (a must!)
- Dinners are exceptional. Well done to the Chef. Every night a unique, different 4 course meal!
- Staff very friendly. Kevin, the restaurant manager served us with excellence. Got treated so special on our wedding anniversary. Will never forget his kindness.
- Seira, thank you for serving us so well during our stay! We are happy to have met you.
- Lots of sea activities just around the corner at reasonable prices. Don’t miss snorkeling ???? with the sea turtles and checking out the fish on the reef.
- Not too commercial like the upper class resorts. Perfect for those that just want rest and not constant booming music.
- Sunsets are exquisite over the calm late afternoon sea!
Disappointing :
- Except for breakfast (juice), drinks not included in Half board meals.
Water and all drinks almost 4 times more expensive than back home.
- Position of TV- Hidden behind one of the bed posts. Could not use it. So easy to move it to the center of the bed. Why is this so difficult to see by management?
- About tap water:
When asking if it is safe to drink tap water (since minibar water is very expensive) they immediately say “no” and refer you to the mini bar in your room.
I asked my very helpful taxi-driver who replied he only drinks tap water. Had plenty glasses of tap water. Saved lots of money, the taste was acceptable, and I am still alive!????
Ps. If you go to one of the grocery stores about 2km down the road, the water is extremely cheap even compared to home.

Un emplacement super.. je ne comprend pas les avis négatifs.. c'est un indépendant qui donne son cœur à vous offrir le meilleur.. il me semble que les personnes qui ont mis de mauvaises notes pour avoir payé des suppléments pour les boissons . C'est peut être un peut le principe d'un commerce .. ce n'est pas une association à but non lucratif. Et la vue est super jolie .. les gens qui se plaignent vous devez sûrement avoir de mauvaises langues bien pendu où que vous alliez. Payez vous donc des hôtels de luxe .. !!

Very small hotel with limited number of rooms. The room is OK but needs some proper rennovations as it has the potential to offer more in terms of deco & settings. The hotel beach front is not suitable for a swim but you can enjoy a sandy public beach within 10mins of walk. The food offering is quite limited but very good in terms of quality and taste mainly the dinner. Just for the food during dinner time, I would give 4 stars! On overall, i would say the hotel is fairly value for money and covenient for a quiet weekend break!

The rooms are enormous and comfortable. The bed decor was welcoming and fun. The proximity to the beach was also very nice. THE REAL WINNER IS THE CHEF! We had the full-board and the dinner, which was preset by the chef, was truly amazing: cold risotto and fish salad, homemade cheese ravioli appetizer with fresh bread, beef filet main (cooked to perfection, seriously perfect and I am a huge critic of this!), and a generous portion of tiramisu! Unbelievable! Then breakfast was just as remarkable. I liked the rooms/facilities, but I loved the ambiance and food. Seriously cracking experience!

Be aware of this tourist trap! We paid for 1 espresso 200 and for a small beer 340!! The location of the bar is nice though, directly on the beach, but this prices are just ridiculous!! Would not recommend this place!!

Je suis allée uniquement au restaurant. On ne voulait pas nous prendre cat uniquement sur réservation alors qu il n y avait personne. Plat très bon mais pas de dessert cuisine fermée !!!! Hallucinant.

Hôtel asse cher par rapport à la prestation les prix sont à la tête du client..le personnel est assez souriant mais très intéressé par votre argent..on vous demande de leur ramener du parfum..ou quand on consomme au bar on vous arnaques l argent va dans leur poche ..

We reserved for 3 adults, the room has a bed for 2 people and a massage table converted as a second bed ,not comfortable at all.
No activities proposed at the hotel.
Prices for the drinks are very expensive.
The only positive thing is the restaurant, the food was good but we had no choice i think because its half board.
The worst hotel experience i had .

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, 15 jours de détente. La restauration était variée et très bonne. Merci pour le wagyu???????????? une decouverte pour nous on s'est regalé!!!. Le personnel très chaleureux et chambre très propre. Merci à Christophe et à ses employés pour toutes vos attentions, nous avons été ravis de notre séjour et nos amis qui nous ont rejoins aussi!!

Tu commandes une viande et avant de t’amener la viande.
Les serveuses viennent te voir pour annoncer que ça sera 150g de viande sans beaucoup plus d’info.
Et surprise le prix de la viande augmente de 150% pour quelques grammes en plus.
En plus de ca, un service d’une lenteur….. du jamais vu …..
Bref je déconseille !!!
